GENERAL INFORMATION
Date
October 28 & 29, 2004
.
Objectives
The first two “Updates”, in 2000 and 2002, were extremely successful, 150 participants from 14 countries attended. The goal, again of this meeting, will be to present new developments along with new technologies in the field of coloproctology. We shall also attempt to formulate practical tips and recommendations for your daily practice during the congress.
The program is now, more then ever, concentrated on special topics: proctology, laparoscopic surgery and colorectal cancer. The live demonstrations from three operating rooms, simultaneously, will
include most of these topics. New this time will be the participant dinner on the Thursday evening. We hope to welcome many of
you at the historic “Shipping Museum” where we will be able to discuss various medical topics with each other, along with the viewing of examples of the Dutch sea-faring history. We hope you have the opportunity to be part of this Amsterdam and coloproctology experience and we are looking forward meeting many of you.
