Public Transport
For transportation by train one needs to buy a ticket from the ticket office at the train station or from the big yellow ticket machines which can be found at every train station .
For transportation by bus, tram or metro one needs to buy a “OV” card (Openbaar Vervoer=Public Transport) . These cards can be bought at stations and certain tabacco stores and can be purchased for a number of hours, or as a card to be used at all times, but on which you have to put credit. Credit can be put onto the card at each metro and/or trainstation. By entering and by leaving the vehicle, one needs to put the card in front of a “reader” (yellow poles on the platforms) and the money for the trip will be deducted from the card. For more detailed information click here.
The best way to reach the AMC is to take metro # 50 or # 54 direction ‘Gein`. Please get off at metro station Holendrecht. From there it is a 3 minute walk to the main entrance of the hospital.
