Arriving by car: from the direction Utrecht (from the south) you follow highway A2 towards Amsterdam. Take exit 2 (direction Haarlem, Amstelveen, Schiphol, AMC) and follow the signs AMC. Coming from the east, highway A1, take the exit direction Haarlem, Schiphol (A9) and take the exit with AMC on it. See also small map. Parking: parking at the AMC is best on P5 and P6. These parking lots are free of charge. If you arrive after 9.00 am these parking lots might be full. The best is then to park your car in the Parking Garage (P2), parking time will be charged. Please do not make use of the parking area in front of the hospital as this lot is specially for patients and their visitors. Arriving by plane: from Schiphol airport you can either take a taxi (± €35/€45) or you can take the train to Duivendrecht Station. From there you can take the metro (#50 or #54 direction Gein) and get off at Holendrecht. Further information and tickets can be obtained from the Dutch Railway (NS) located in the main hall of the airport across from the Central Meeting Point pillar (bright red and white checkered column). Arriving by train: the train station HOLENDRECHT is at 3 minutes walking from the main entrance of the hospital. Trains from the direction Amsterdam and Utrecht stop at this station. Arriving by metro: the following metro`s (direction GEIN) will bring you to the AMC: metro #54. Passes among others the stations: Central Station, Amstel Sation, Duivendrecht Station, Bijlmer/Arena Station. Get off at stop HOLENDRECHT, from there it is a 3 minutes walk to the main entrance of the hospital. metro #50.
